About Us
The University of Maryland offers a vast array of resources focused on the Bay and environmental issues, from marine ecology to biotechnology to anthropology. The University of Maryland College Park is the flagship of the 13-campus University System of Maryland. At College Park and many of the System's other campuses, faculty and researchers pursue Chesapeake Bay-related research. Two of the System's research campuses that focus specifically on Bay and marine-related research are the UM Center for Environmental Science and the UM Center of Marine Biotechnology, part of the University's Biotechnology Institute. This Chesapeake Bay website is hosted by the Maryland Sea Grant College.
